ROBYNE NEWMAN HOCKETT, WHEELOCK COLLEGE BSW 1992

Robyne is a proud graduate of the Wheelock College Class of 1992 and received her MSW in 1994 at Florida State University.  She has been providing support coordination to Consumers with developmental disabilities for over 33 years. She is currently the owner of a support coordination agency providing supports and services to individuals with developmental disabilities through the Medicaid waiver program in Southeast Florida.

She has been the recipient of many awards from NASW as well as previous organizations that she has worked for.  Robyne has also received awards from both Wheelock College and Florida State University for her work in the community.

Robyne currently resides in Royal Palm Beach, Florida, with her husband, Dave.  She has three adult children and soon to be six grandchildren. She is a very proud Grammy!  She and her husband like to travel with family and friends as well as visit with her grandchildren. She is looking forward to working on our board to help keep Lucy's Legacy alive!
